9. WITCHES HAT - Anyone remember this, it was a cone shaped ride that used to be taken over by the big kids who stood up on the sides and made the seating area at the base bang on the ground. Heaven help any little kids sitting there!
We had one on our playground until just a couple of years ago. Now we have a state of the art playground.

10. THE TWISTER. (I do remember that Marian. :D I also remember the "Twister" where taken in turn each particular person would have her arm in the roped arm sling and hoist it backwards over all the rest and that would give you a higher ride above everyone else. ( Ah those were the days.)

Marian I am sure I remember the Witches Hat but we never had names for them we just enjoyed them at that time.

We used to take a picnic and walk along to Davidsons Mains park as it had huge boulders you could hide behind or else Inverleith Park and fish for minnows.

12. MUSICAL TUBES (not sure if this is the right name, but quite a lot of playgrounds have them now)

Don't remember the Twister Lena, sounds fun, but we still have a bucking horse Sandra. No health and safety in those days!

Well-I did think it would be tricky to get 13 songs about park rides--but then I stopped thinking !!

As you seem to be finding it difficult I'll finish it off with... 13. Football Nets
I did say rides, etc. we have an activity wall, tennis courts, and table tennis, and a lot of new rides. Like an adventure park.
Someone else can take the next one if you have one waiting.
