That is not the word I was thinking of, L & H.... The meaning of this word is "A waiting line" or also "pigtail"

A. "The waiting line" clue gave me QUEUE Henry, but I must confess I looked up Pigtail which I have always known to be long hair that is plaited, so I've just learned something else. :D
