Yes, It's probably difficult to keep ringing the changes Marian, he is making so many broadcast and TV appearances lately and it was mentioned that he would be singing Bridge Over Troubled Water on Sunday night. He also sang it Two or Three weeks ago on the Alan Titchmarsh show. :)

Enjoyed Alfie last night on Strictly but I see what Marian means about him being close to the microphone you can hardly see his face!

Also I know it's a dance programme but do they have to dance when the singer is performing? I never know if the applause is for them or the dancers and every time the dancers so something special they applaud which detracts from the singers performance.

I am also glad he's gone back to being almost clean shaven.

After all that, I missed the results show---I had not realised that "Corrie" was on for an hour , so it clashed with "Strictly"--I just caught the last 5 minutes of it--I was really annoyed, as if I had realised, I could easily have done "Corrie " on plus1.

I missed the first half of Corrie as I hadn't realised it started it 7p.m! Recorded the second half. :)

I wondered where Corrie was tonight--and realised it was the Royal Variety show-not watched it yet--may just watch parts of it.

Alfie Boe is on the Alan Titchmarsh show next Friday afternoon. Thank goodness for that.
I feel that this series has been disappointing with un necessary stuff about peoples bodies etc  I've turned over channels these past few days for the Perfection quiz.

Thanks for info Lena. Alfie is about to start his U.K. tour but I won't be going this time. I agree about Alan Titchmarsh show, I switched to Perfection some times ago.

Marian I am going to see Alfie on March 25th, I recently bought his concert on blu ray in the HMV sale but don't want to watch it until after the concert.

I'll have to watch it again Karl, but I think it is between songs Karl. It's just quick shots of the audience and we knew where were, so I doubt if anyone else would be able to pick us out, Peter couldn't!!

Ah! If you'd been quick enough when the camera was on you Marian you could have jumped up and down and waved your prorgamme in the air! :D

I was talking about Alfie recently to another friend I don't see much and he had also gone to see Alfie in concert and though the was wonderful.

Hope he's going to tour again I want better seats this time. Last time all we couldget was the back row of The Gods!!!!

Thanks for the cd news Marian.

I just checked it and there is also a new dvd released December 2 , Storyteller At The RAH - that is DEFINITELY on my wants list!
