Many congratulations to Two very special and loyal members on our forum. Sandra and John, Harry and I both send our very best wishes to you on your Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration.
Sorry we were unable to meet up with you on this happy occasion all due to the interference of the flu, but pleased to hear that you had a great time here in London and seeing the fabulous Tommy Steele. Here's to the next Fifty years . :)

50 Years? Wow! That's a long time - that's good you had a great weekend in London. I bet Tommy Steele was great. How come he's never been made a Sir?

I know Karl-lesser mortals have been made a Sir!

He was on the stage for a full two hours obviously relishing the part of Scrooge and he still has a strong singing voice.Great stuff :D

Sandra I saw Tommy Steele years ago here in Edinburgh in Some Like It Hot and he was fantastic, for all the years he's beenin the business his enthusiasm is still so strong - I remember he cracked up laughing several times during the show, he tried hard not to but his shoulders were shaking.
