Hey Terence,
It's a tradition that the Chinese and Spanish settlers brought over to the Phliippines and the Filipinos adopted it. Suppose to symbolize bringing good luck and forture for each of the 12 months. LOL.

Sandra, I'm not sure if Nick's yesterdays programme will be available on the Listen Again, but from what i've seen there are just particular ones available for instance his "Remembrance Day" prog although the 16th of December one was there that we were able to listen to.
I've a feeling that he may be able to oblige if you send him a message, and he would be pleased to hear from you. :)

Thanks Lena and Harry, will give him a try.The trouble is that his programme is on the same time as our favourite Radio Lincolnshire Sunday afternoon programme with Howard Leader called 'Big Bands and Balladeers' :)

Yes, I know what you mean Sandra, you get used to your own programme schedule, and not sure if it's Nick himself who makles the choice of the Listen Again programmes. I think he left the 16th of December one for us to hear again because he dedicated a couple of Matt's songs for us and at that time I had the flu, but he will oblige if he can. :)

Thanks Sandra, I'm not as keen on him as I was though, and his interviews are very similar, so I think I'll give this one a miss, but thanks for thinking of me. :D
I'm not too keen on the songs he's recording now either. I've still got my Alfie's Arrows badge though!!
Maybe it'll make a fortune on ebay one day :D

I heard Alfie on Chris Evans this morning---I agree Marian-I believe I said this befgore--he should go back to his roots--musical numbers---the crossover pop song does not suit him.
