Thanks everyone. Not much improvement really, she hasn't eaten very much today. I think she must have problems focusing on it and chewing it. Will have to see what tomorrow brings.

I'm sure she's getting plenty TLC anyway!

Just a quick update on Jodie. When I took her outside this morning, she did manage, very gradually to come back in unaided, it took a lot of coaxing and took a few minutes. Very unsteady, and veering to the right hand side, but she didn't fall. The second time I took her out she did the same, she couldn't do it yesterday.Took her back to the vets tonight, I don't think she is particularly optimistic, she has given her another injection, plus enough tablets to last another week. She did say that the fresh air would do her good, and also that little bit of walking would have done her good.
She is quite happy when she is settled, and still giving kisses and wagging her tail. It is heartbreaking to see her like this. I wanted to give her another few days to see if there is any more improvement, without seeming cruel.
I have had her since she was a pup, and she has never been to the vets for any illness in all those 15 and a half years. I want to give her a bit more of a chance, she deserves it.

Thank you for the update on Jodie John. It's positive news that she is walking better today and happy when she is settled and wagging her tail, she obvious knows you are doing your best for her. I hope she continues to improve over the next few days, it must be a very worrying time for you John.
How is Barnie taking it?

Barnie knows there is something wrong Marian, he keeps going up to her as though asking if she is alright.
When I came downstairs this morning she lifted her head up, and she has has done well this morning, I have to get her outside, and then I left her and watched from the kitchen window, and she came right in through the lounge doorway on her own and then plonked down. Again it took a few minutes, but she is certainly trying.

Thank you John, animals seem to have a sixth sense to know when another animal or human is not well and they pick up their owner's feelings too. Good news on Jodie this morning she's a plucky little dog and hoping she will continue the fight. Is she eating much, or at least a little?

She's off her own food, but she had 2 of Barnie's small foods, similar to Caeser. I think her normal food in tins is too soft for her to grab, so we just cut the Caesers into about 9 pieces and she can easily eat that.Plus she has had biscuits, and a few treats, also tried her with some warm bread an milk, she had some of that.

Marian is right animals do have a sense when something is wrong, I know I spoke of this awhile back the Richard Gere film "Haachi - A Dog's Tale" is proof of a dog's love and loyalty and it's based on a true story.

That will certainly help if she can get some nourishment in her.

Just had an update on Caroles dog Robson--the vets said there is not much wrong with him, he is just taking medication to settle his stomach,
basically they put his problems down to old age !! That sounds familiar.

Also my friends dog Ruby has another scan, and the tumour has not spread--now they need to check if they can operate.
