After playing the above CD, that type of music doesn't seem to be my cup of tea nowadays

British Hit PARADE 1962.

Raise your hand if you remember these as a new release,

Walk On By - Leroy Van Dyke

Your Ma Said You Cried In Your Sleep Last Night - Doug Sheldon

The Young Ones - Cliff Richard

Tell Me What He Said - Helen Shapiro

Scary, isn't it?

Listened to Tony Blackburns "Top Of The Pops" today. Hits from 1961 and 1979.
He played, Matt's recording of " Portrait of my love."
He played about 38 recordings and I knew them all, but picturing Andy Stewart (who was also on this programme ) singing and with his skirt a twirling, now that was scary. :D

Karl, have you ever seen the photo of Johnny mathis wearing a kilt--it goes way back, and I know i have it somwhere--I will try and dig it out-it was in a national paper, and my friend wrote off and asked for a copy of the photo.

Bit draughty for this kind of weather eh Karl.

A rather inquisitive lady asked a Scots guard...tell me, is anything worn under the kilt ? to which he answered No madam, everything is in perfect working order
