We just recently sent off for a dvd collection called "Thriller" which was originally shown in the 70's. There are about 46 episodes in total so have been watching a couple of these the odd night. Some are o.k., but the acting is a bit wooden in some of them. :o

I remember 'Thriller', John.
My sister and I used to be scared witless watching them!

We've watched about 9 of them so far Gray, and to be honest there have only been three or four half decent ones up till now, in fact one of them just didn't make sense at all. I suppose they will get better as they go along......hopefully.

Are they the same series as Armchair Thriller John? These were an old tv series from the 70s too if I remember correctly. Our son has several of these on DVD.

No, this is a different series Marian. I remember the Armchair Thriller as well, I think these were towards the late 70's because I remember watching them when I was a kid, they were really good from what I remember. I had never actually seen the series "Thriller", I bought them from ebay because they sounded really good, written by Brian Clemens.

Jon,

I'm sure I remember one episode were somebody gets trapped/buried in a tiny crevice behind a wall...?
The poor person only has a lit candle, which when dies out means there is no oxygen left...?

Have you come across this episode yet?
Maybe it was from another show/series, but I do remember being frightened to death with my sister watching 'Thriller'.

Did Brain Clemens write The New Avengers also?

We haven't come accross that particular one yet Gray, we watched another two last night and they were quite good, so they are getting better as they go along. The episode you mention sounds good.
Yes, I think Brian Clemens did have something to do with the New Avengers, I think he wrote quite a lot for tv.

We watched this one last night Gray, he managed to escape because by some form of miracle he had some gun powder and blew his way out. :o
