We have just heard the sad news that Patty Andrews,( the last remaining sister of that famous singing Trio )he Andrew Sisters passed away yesterday at the age of 94.
Their best and well remembered songs included.... "A Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy from Company B" , " Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen" , "I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time" but their songs brought so much pleasure on the Home Front during WW2 and to everyone else all these years.

I saw The Andrews Sister in a musical called Over There in New York back in the 70's and still have the programme. At that time I think two were left and the third was a newcomer.

We now have The Puppini Sisters to carry on that distinctive sound.

I have many recording of the Sisters with Bing Crosby Live or on Records....My favorite by Patty was "I Can Dream Can't I"
She was 94 years old....She had a full life....
