We finally watched "The Artist " last night. Quite different, but really enjoyed it. Winner of Seven Baftas including Best Film and 5 Oscars including Best picture. The dog was the star, he had tricks that we've yet to see from Pudsey. :)

Started watching the series "Life Begins" with Alexander Armstrong Season 1. Some funny stuff there. Also "Death In Paradise" and "D.I. Banks".

"Turn The Key Softly" last night with a very young Joan Collins, Yvonne Mitchell and one of my favorites, Kathleen Harrison, about 3 women who get out of prison on the same day. Good little film. :)

Working my way through the Chicago Hope series and awaiting the future seasons as they are released.

I've also been given Skyfall to watch from my neighbour so I look forward to that.

Watched the glorious Jukebox Saturday Night again tonight :D ..............to think all these singers made hardly any money during their singing career's, most just got paid a standard "recording fee" when recording all those great standards.

Skyfall - it was ok but the dialogue was often unclear. Same with CSI NY last night, I turned it off as the so called "background" music was so damn annoying!!!

Trouble with CSI and some of those shows are the background music as you say Karl. I think they are trying to be attractive and appealing to the younger crowd (OMG did I just say that) and made to be stylized like a music video. Young, trending and hip, like the old Miami Vice concept. I think that just detracts from the story and acting, and yes they should turn the music down.

Watched Happy Is The Bride last night, a 1958 comedy starring Ian Carmichael, Janette Scott and Cecil Parker. Hadn't seen this before, a comedy about a couple who are getting married and their family trying to take over the arrangements. A lot of familiar faces in the cast including Terry Thomas, Joyce Grenfell and Irene Handl. :D

Playing for Keeps with Gerrard Butler and Jessica Biel. Tonight I think I'll watch the kids movie "Wreck It Ralph" and this weekend can't wait to see "OZ - The Great And Powerful".

Have just started to watch Jukebox Saturday Night 2 .......the DVD also contains a Big Band New Years Eve Special from 1981 ...................Jukebox Saturday Night 2 see song's performed by Patti Page (who presents the show), Teresa Brewer, Inkspots, Fran Warren, Margaret Whiting, Maguire Sisters and Julius La Rosa ...............the show is very good :) :) ............Patti Page mingles wonderfully with the audience during her medley of hit's :) :) .......................Big Band New years Eve Special from 1981 see's Tex Beneke (ex Glenn Miller vocalist) perform with his band at the Hollywood Palladium :) .............and a big surprise for me is that he is joined by Bob Eberly and Helen O'Connell during the show singing duets and songs individually :D :D ........................it took me over two years to start watching Jukebox 1 and 2 but I love them :D ..................thank you so much John :D
