I like her Lena and Harry. It was only a few months since I heard of her as well, she had a nice voice. This is a nice one, "On Treasure Island". :D

Yes, a nice singer John. Another singer was Dodie Stevens. She made a recording of Over The Rainbow at the age of Fourteen. Amazing voice. :)

CLAIRE TEAL- SWINGIN' AT THE TOWER'. Was sorry that she didn't see fit to include Matt in her programme of famous artists who recorded for Capitol Records :(

I hadn't heard of Dodie Stevens either Lena and Harry, yes, very good singer. :D
Just been listening to a home made compilation of Matt's I made up a few months ago. At first I wanted to make 1 cd of my favorites, but then found I had too many favorites for 1 cd, so decided to make a 2 cd set, then guess what, yes, there were too many for 2cd's so I made it a 3cd set. :D

Lost In You - Petula Clark's great new cd
The Stateside Story
The Top Rank Story (Both include some great hits from the 60s's with excellent sound quality at a bargain price)

A* Teens - Greatest Hits (I wonder whatever happen to them)
Abba - The Definitive Collection
Elton John - Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player (I still remember all the words to each song!!!)

1961 Embassy Britishh Hit Parade - another one John said was good and it is - the sleeve notes are also very interesting. Also interesting to know that Maureen Evans was one of their artists.

I only ever bought two Woolies singles, one is on this set and the other on the 1960 release which I will buy soon.

Thanks John, your commission cheque is in the post!
