The man in the wheelchair was the one at fault. The runners are all given details of the drinks stops and who they are for, so that will have to be enforced for future runs.

I thought too that the wheelchair runners should pass on the other side too. Apparently there should have been helpers though that warn the runners of wheelchairs coming through. That was what Tammi Gray Thompson said at the time.

~You would think that they could have staggered the refreshment tables, so that one was for wheelchairs and one for the runners--it could potentially have been a nasty accident for both runner and wheelchair user.

The wheelchair user was on TV this morning, saying that his chair was badly damaged--and as he said -a years hard work and training just gone in instant.

It's a sporting term in cycling ....tiredness caused by lack of food, according to our Daily Telegraph A-Z book of knowledge.
Well who would have thought that. !!!
Anyway, Robert or Marian your turn :)

I remember hearing that name--but cannot remember either of the singers names just now,

We did a quiz last night--and were doing really well--a couple of 10 scores, lots of 9's , even on our joker--nothing below 8---then we got to the last round, which we had saved our triple point joker for--and ended up with only 2 points--by far our worst round-so instead of a potential 30 points, we ended up with just 6 from that round, and we went down the board with a big bang !!! WE just managed to keep in the top half, so I guess that was something !!
