I have a couple of Beatles albums that were never released on cd--just compilations, but they were really nice--one was called "Beatles ba\llads" and the other was a double Lp called "Love Songs"---funnily enough, I still have it--but it only has one lp in it !!!

Marian I'm intrigued.

Has it only ever had one LP in the sleeve or did you file the other one in another album sleeve?

I am assuming I put it in another sleeve--but it has not turned up yet--I was really cross as it was one of my favourite Beatle compilations and we often used to listen to it.

The Close to You album (or it's UK - and better version - 'We're Gonna Change The World") are currently caught in the midfield that is the Capitol take over (Basically everything from Born free to this LP are inaccessible to us at the moment)

both the Long & Winding Road album & If I Never Sing LP are certainly possible at some point though.

Karl, All the Cilla Albums did eventually appear on the CD box set "Completely Cilla" (which also included a DVD - Different to to the one I authored for the Definitive)

Actually I am playing part of that set at the moment.

However Richard not al her albums are included as it's only from 1963-1973 and I understand the tracks are in order of recording. One day when I have some time I must check the tracks from her LP's against the set.

I think Cilla's albums In My Life & It Makes Me Feel Good are excellent. Produced by David Mackay! Her earlier albums are good too with some great arrangements.
