Mike: is that Henry Mancini's How Soon? I didn't know Matt Monro recorded that beautiful song. Maybe I have it somewhere. I'll have to research and find this recording.

Jon: Wednesday's Child wouldn't make my top 100 or even 200. His vocals are fine; I just don't like the song.

Yes, it is that song Paul, and it is lovely, on the LP "I Have Dreamed" if I remember correctly. This album was reissued on a 2cd many year ago called "Matt Monro Sings" along with The Hoagy Carmichael one, plus several other tracks, long deleted though, sadly.

How Soon is a great song. You can sometimes get Matt Monro Sings 2CD second hand and it is also on the US album Walk Away. Itunes has it available for download too.

You mean How Soon is not on any of the CDs available (and therefore not on any that I own)? I thought it would be and was going to play it; very disappointed. But there's still youtube.

Mike, it would mean shelling out nearly £20 for just ONE song, as we all have all the other songs already :wink: :lol:

I need to add this thanks to The Complete Singles Collection. I just noticed it's a Don Black song. Play it on your Sunday programme.

(I think this was used for a commercial, but it works as a happy real song too.)
