EmaN, I do not know how Karl does it, but when I was copying my LP's, the only way I could space the tracks was by doing it all manually, and sitting by the side of my stereo, and pausing at the end of each track, and starting at the beginning of the next track. I would imagine there may be more sophisticated equipment now--especially if you can copy via a computer-I just copied via my stereo. I got good results, as long as the original Lp was in good condition, but it was quite time consuming.

I do basically what Marian does, I do not pause but with each new track I change the track number manually on the remote control - I agree it is time consuming as recording cd to cd is a breeze and you can leave the machine alone. However if you want to burn a vinyl record that's the only way.

Also Marian and I seem to have the same machine! :)

Ok because that also how my machine does it, you have to sit their and manually pause at the start and end of each track. I haven't seen any recorders lately in the shops. I wonder if they still make them

I bought one several months ago through Radio Times, it has the ability to record vinyl, tape, cd etc: but I hate it - there is a delay before recording and the motor starts to hum and it's picked up on the recording - what a waste of money. Back to my old trusted machine!!!! :x

Gotta agree. I saw some of the turntables they are selling at Best Buy and they are junk. ION turntables made out of plastic and the stylus looks like a sewing needle!! Yeeechhhh

I think it may be Karl----mine is a Sony--however, I know they are not making them any more, as I was tempted to replace my one. The only ones I saw that worked in a similar way, cost way too much for me.
