Steve Tyrell is popular and he 's got a lot of fans and I'm grateful to any of todays singers who sing and appreciate the good stuff, including Steve, but I find his voice a shade .. rasping though still listenable, and his latest Sammy Cahn CD has some great numbers on so should do well. :)

I know what you mean L&H, Steve is not the best singer in the world but there's something about him I Ilike and he always looks so happy when he's singing.

I almost saw him when I was in Japan but that's a long storyl!!!!!

Not really took much notice of him.Just realised he is the guy who sang 'The Way You Look Tonight' from the film Father Of The Bride.
Rather like that version of one of my favourite songs but don't think I could listen to a whole CD. :)

Talking of the song,... The Way You Look Tonight, we were listening to a couple of Gary Miller CDs last night and that was one of the songs. He knew how to put each individual song over so well.
"There Goes That Song Again" was popular for Gary, ... (John's favourite too.) :) and if my memory serves me well, his recording of Robin Hood for the TV series was replaced after he passed away with Richard Green''s version.
Sad that he was taken so young.

Yes, "There Goes That Song Again" is my favourite of his Lena, and he does sing "The Way You Look Tonight" very well too. :D I have a feeling that although Gary did have a hit with Robin Hood, I believe it was dick James's version that was used in the TV series. :)

Yes, of course you are right John, it was dick James version. Confusing the singer and actor.
Gary does a lovely job with ..."On The Street Where You Live too."

We are just listening to Nick Muirs programme. He plays some great stuff, a mixed bag of surprises and generally one of Matt's. :) In fact he's just playing Matt's " Cottage For Sale" :)

Lola and Heinrich who is Kark?

Eamon there was no video when I was dancing, I was a Private Dancer , but not for money!!!! I really enjoyed listening to Stevie Wonder tonight as I haven't played him for a long time. Had such a good time I played both cd's (it's a 2 cd set).

Talking of Private Dancer I must dig out my Tina cd's.
