So sad to hear that Bernie Nolan has died of cancer aged 52. She has been ill for a long time. We saw her in Blood Brothers several years ago, a wonderful performance. A great entertainer, she always had a smile on her face.

I met two of The Nolans after a show some years ago when Bernie was in The Bill and they were so proud of her, she was a lovely woman and a great actress.
