Can I add 'Pride' too?
I love 'Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me' also.
'Desire' - cracking.
'Miss Sarajevo' - surely someone else must think this is gorgeous?
'Even Better Than The Real Thing' anyone?
'Elevation' - fab!!!

Frankly, I'm not impressed. :) (Actually I've never heard any of them.) So Chris Martin and Coldplay still win out as producing the most classic songs.

:)
I read somewhere last night that the new U2 album has outsold the rest of the top 10 put together, so it will be Number 1 this week.

West 53rd Street has been temporarily named U2 Street, while U2 are touring or appearing on the Jay Leno (??) or similar show :)

Yes, I've just found out it is a very temporary honour!

From Yahoo news..

Irish rockers U2 will be honoured with their own temporary street name in New York City's famed Times Square.
The city's mayor, Michael Bloomberg, will rename part of West 53rd Street at Broadway U2 Way on Tuesday (03Mar09) to coincide with the release of the band's new album, No Line on the Horizon.
However, the honour will only last the day, according to the Press Association.
The street renaming also marks the band's week-long stint on The Late Show with David Letterman, which began on Monday (02Mar09). It is the first time a musical guest has performed a full week on the show, filmed at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, which is located at the intersection.

I was just wondering--as it would have put out the whole street naming system out---although it is boring---eg corner of 55th st and 2nd Ave---you know exactly where it is even though you have never been there before---and inpossible to get lost.

I have a teenage cousin in Ireland, Anna,
whose godmother is Ali Hewson, Bono's wife.
Keith

PS Since I'm name-dropping, Robert, who is Jeff?
PPS I gather it is Paul jh. :?

Keith you are quite right--Jeff is Paul---or Paul is Jeff.

He started on the site as Paul, although his real name was Jeff.
Then another Paul came on the site [briefly]. so Paul/Jeff said to call him Jeff.

As by this time I had already met him as Paul, I found it hard to get used to calling him Jeff, so I went back to Paul. But some still call him Jeff.

But I know he does not mind, if he is called Paul or Jeff.

I still know Paul as Paul too Keith, but his first names are Jeffrey Paul, so he answers to either.
The other Paul is Paul White, who of course is Matt Jnr's driver and memorabilia man on tour.
