Who was your group or singer Henry ?
The only "September" I can think of is Earth Wind and Fire, and I am pretty sure they are not Swedish.
In fact I do not know any Swedish acts-except Abba.

You know many songs by Roxette and a very famous one by Europe. Radio 2 plays them all the time. And Swedish House Mafia hasn't been off Radio 1 or Capital for a year now. Beside the UK, Sweden contributes more to pop music (sung in English) than any other European country and when their most famous group is included more than Canada.

When Paul listed 15 names I thought that would have been the end of this thread - it appears not!
Jussi Bjorling's name never even came to mind as I was thinking more on pop singers, I even thought of Hanne Boel but I think she's Danish?

I don't think many of us listen to Radio 1 any more Paul, it's mainly Radio 2

I prefer Radio 1 as Radio 2 is stale on their oldies and they don't play the new songs often enough.
