How can you listen to Maria in Spanish more than once? I listened once because I was curious. But the English lyrics bleeding in makes it an automatic skip. Also that song about the island is a must skip. He sings it fine, but it's just not a good song. And there's some song with the lyric "how can I live without your love"; I don't like the song or the vocal.

But Once in Every Long and Lonely While, Pretty Polly, Two People, and The Folks Who Live on the Hill make up for everything. They are gorgeous. I also like many others and the commercials. But those four come to mind first as being beautiful. I am thrilled to have Matt Monro singing the Kern song.

One of my favourite Connie Francis tracks Robert apparently written by Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield. :D

This is my favourite Connie Francis song--written indeed by the wonderful Sedaka/Greenfield ---and in fact Neil often sang it in concert , when he did an run through of his songs from first to last--and in fact this was one of the very early songs.

Paul......."from beginning to end" is just a saying !! ..............obviously I prefer some tracks over other tracks on disc 2, but overall disc 2 is exceptionally good :D ...............the Spanish version of Maria is NOT as bad as you suggest it is :!: ...............I love Matt singing Maria and obviously the English version is better, but the Spanish version is different but it is OK :)
