Listening to Nick Muirs programme. Playing the brilliant Judith Durham, singing "This Is My Song" What a lovely rendition.
We hope she is recovering well enough to make the forthcoming tour, particularly for you John.

There is still no definite news on the tour Lena, I can't see it happening to be honest, I feel it would be better if it is postponed until she has recovered properly. And yes, she sings it beautifully. :) :)

Terrence! Nice to see you. Yeah those are two of his best solo efforts. Mark Lindsay took the Gary Puckett route when he did these and even used his producer Jerry Fuller. I love his version of "Love's Been Good To Me" but couldn't stand his version of "Something". You should check out his third lp "You've Got A Friend".

Hi Eman

Mark Lindsay's 3rd album You've Got A Friend is released on a limited edition CD in Japan. Maybe I should grab it before it goes out of print.

Listening to another twofer today.
It's Vikki Carr's Ms America/One Hell Of A Woman.
I love both! :D

Karl, too bad it only peaked around #155 on the Billboard charts and was a factor in Columbia not picking up her contract when it expired. :(

Terrence, yeah you should if you could get it for a fair price. Oh yeah if you like the song "One Hell Of A Woman" check out the singer Mac Davis. He wrote the song. He also has a good album and song called "Baby, Don't Get Hooked On Me".

Hi Eman

I have Mac Davis - Greatest Hits but have not played it for a long time. Only 10 songs but yes, One Hell Of A Woman is on it. Was he the original singer for I Believe In Music? I remember being unimpressed by the sound quality of this Columbia CD. Must spin it later.

Yes Terence,
He was. He also wrote "In The Ghetto" for Elvis and numerous songs for Glen Campbell. I have to agree with you on that cd, so I just shelved it and play the vinyl album!!
