That's correct Marian, your turn.
It's Mark Porter, who has been in Doctor Who in the past. In the anniversary episode he plays a dalek, so we won't probably recognise him!! :D

A. Story of My Life (not the Michael Holliday song) .................going back to the supermarket question, I would have thought either Aldi or Lidl should be in the top two .................but Morrisons would NEVER make the top two, they are so bloomin' expensive :!:

Q. How much has Children In Need raised so far ? ...............I didn't watch any of it, watched England lose to Chile in the football ................England should have played Chile next week instead of Germany, when the weather will be very chillly by then

If the England result depends on the weather they have no chance in Brazil. They lost last night because Chile were a better team, and played well, while England didn't. I didn't like our new goalkeeper either, bring back Joe Hart!

Going back to the Supermarket theme--it was Tescos and Asda--but Sainsburys took over from Asda. I do not go in Aldo or Lidl, as they are not near me, but it is to do with total sales.

I suppose it's a lot how the stores are distributed too, we have Sainsbury's, Asda and Tesco near us, but no Morrison's, Aldi or Lidl anywhere in the area. We have Waitrose also nearby, and a large Budgeon's is actually being built in our village. We used to have a Spar many years ago but that closed. I was quite surprised to see lots of Spar shops on the continent when we went on holiday once.

Marian there's lots of Spar shops in Spain too.

I am spoilt for choice where I live, no matter what way I drive I will be at a supermarket within a few minutes. I have two Morrison's, one is large and the other is larger, Waitrose, a huge Sainsbury's, M&S, a small Tesco and Farmfoods.

Then if I drive about 4-5 miles I have Asda and a larger Tesco.

Considering the size of Tonbridge and Royal Tunbridge Wells---and also Maidstone as my 3 nearest towns--there are not really very many big supermarkets around--the main ones are on the Industrial estates, which are either difficult, or impossible to get to without a car.

How is the service and prices at Morrisons since they bought out the Safeway stores in the U.K.?

Safeway is where I shop for regular groceries, but "Trader Joe" or "Whole Foods" have the natural organic food business.
The last time I was in London (7 years ago) "Whole Foods" was just opening some stores there (One in Kensington)......

Then let's return to "Questions & Answers"................

I think the prices are ok in Morrison's Henry, every supermarket have their own offers but their meat is excellent and they also do great deals on wine.
