Great live version of Birth Of The Blues. Although the user has put no information on the page regarding place and time recorded. Any reason this isn't on the Ultimate Performer DVD?

This is from New Years Eve 1982 Alex, with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra on a show called "The Big Ben Band Show", I think this is on the dvd "A Portrait Of Matt Monro".

Hi Alex, it's taken from the Odeon DVD a Portrait of Matt Monro. This is a documentary but includes several full performances. It was originally broadcast on the Big Ben Band Show in 1982. This show featured the Syd Lawrence Orchestra with guests.

Don't know if that would be possible but I think I read another post where you said the sound on TV performances is usually very good and not too difficult to remaster. I would just love to hear the Matt Sings Monro TV special on a CD with some other treats thrown in from various other appearances. Have a word with Michele!
