Hi everybody ..hoping you have all enjoyed Christmas and eating too much 8) I have some uplifting news about my dear uncle ...here are my cousins words from his text earlier ....

"Hi max. Well we had nice surprise seeing dad today
He sitting up and has been eating weetabix and soup
And he joking with us so positive day!
Doesn't mean that this will be all good news but a start;0) xxx"


Really needed this today....I hope you are all enjoying the time between new year and Christmas ...been walking as much as possible .... 8) x

Great news Maxine--I know when George started eating Weetabix again, it made such a difference to him.

Thank you John :D of all the Christmas presents ive had ..this is the best :D we can breath a bit easier ..with caution of course but its a lovely feeling...and yes Karl it's food stuff :lol:

as he was quite "with it"
He eaten some mushed up
food so moving onwards!!!

Just a quick update on uncle lee ... He has been eating
But needs to eat more cousin said ... I sent him a card and he said he sends his love and that means that
World to me ... He is sleeping loads ....will wish you all a happy new year
We are at a holiday inn for the celebrations .. First time out for new year
In 26 yrs! ....to all the Matt monro forumers
And Michelle and family of course ...xxxxxx

Don't forget Maxine, if he is not using any energy, he will have no appetite. All he needs are very small amounts, little and often. Something easy to digest, like a yoghurt should help too. It is just a case of trying to stimulate his appetite. I know its not easy,and it does take time.
