They are scheduled to show a sneak preview of "The Monuments Men" starring Matt Damon, George Clooney and Hugh Bonneville on Saturday so I may go. I heard it's a pretty good film but it's not due for release until February and this is a special showing. :D

Yes Maxine and Joe Pesci is brilliant the way he talks gibberish every time he gets hit by Kevins booby-traps.

Tonight I watched Beyond The Sea with Kevin Spacey (Bobby Darin's Story). I saw it in the cinema years ago then bought the dvd on release and never watched it until tonight.

I am a big Kevin Spacey fan, and really enjoyed seeing it again, in the final scenes he really did look like Bobby.

It's a good film, isn't it, Karl?
I enjoyed it when I saw it in the pictures.

Have to agree with you both Karl and Gray. I loved the film and like Karl, I'm a big Kevin Spacey fan. It's amazing Kevin Spacey did all his singing and didn't lip-sync!!! Saturday I go to a premiere of "The Monuments Men" and I can't wait to see it.

Went to the cinema to see THE RAILWAY MAN with Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman.

Excellent if not harrowing based on the true story of Eric Lomax a soldier who worked on the Burma railway
in WW2. 5 out of 5.

I haven't seen West Side Story for years and just watched the dvd, the stage version is on in Glasgow this week and we are getting it in the Spring.

At the start it's rather an unusual film but if you stick with it, it does get more enjoyable - I found the ending very moving,

Natalie Wood was wonderful and I see George Chakiris wore the same suit and shirt as on my LP so the photo shoot must have been done at the same time.
