CHANGE OF HOME PAGE?

Post by Sandra » Sat Jan 18, 2014 3:37 pm

Has anyone else had their MM home page changed?Mine has gone small and says''You don't appear to have the Flash 6 browser plugin and you need to have it installed to use this site.To download for free from macromedia click here.Once you have installed the plug in come back to matt monro.com to enjoy the site.'

Do I go ahead and do this?

Thanks Sandra

I have not had this message Sandra. Why don't you try and contact Richard--he will know, I'm sure.

I have had this in the past Sandra, but I'm unsure how I got rid of it. I tried adding the plug in for Flash, but I don't think it made any difference. It still told me that I didn't have it even though I had it installed.
Are you using Internet Explorer, try downloading Firefox and try using that for the MM website. In the meantime I'll do my best to remember how I got round the problem.
Before trying Firefox, make sure your Flash player is enabled. Go to Tools on your web browser, go to Manage Add-ons and see if Flash is enabled.

I have had this in the past too, I think it was something to do with Flash Player, perhaps your flash player needs updating. Have you tried refreshing your browser Sandra?

Yes it means flash has stopped working. Follow the links given to Macromedia - who invented flash or it's current owner Adobe here:-

Remember to uncheck the McAfee Security Scan box first!
