GIMME A BREAK

Post by karl » Mon Mar 03, 2014 12:27 am

I just opened an email from Sainsburys early bird Christmas points, I don't even want to read it as that's the last thing on my mind at this time of year!

Gee we haven't even had St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Christmas already? Hmmm should I be working on my list already for Santa?

Maxine I bet you get everything but Santer, my granny was Weston nothing simpler than that but she got Watson, Wilson, Western.

As for me (Johansen) I get Johnson, Joe Hansen, Gohansen, British people see JOH and automatically it's Johnson they don't read the rest. On the odd occasion they pronounce it correctly I go into shock mode - however these days many people do pronounce it properly. with a Y like Julio !
