Eamon I have that Hollies cd, I love othat group and have ordered a new cd with three albums on it by Alan Clarke.

Now, today two cd;s dropped through my door from Dutton Vocalion, new releases of old album. I was very keen to get one by Floyd Cramer and it's contaisnm two of his albums, Ever since haring him play I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself on a Bacharach compilation I hoped the album would one day be released on cd and it has.

The other is by another wonderful pianist Peter Nero (saw him inMassachussets years ago) and I am pleased this label have released several of Peter's old album on cd.

Karl, I just noticed something all the bands I was listening to are from Birmingham! Strange huh?

Oh yeah Musical Youth had to change the song to "Dutchie" which is Jamaican for cooking pot from "Coochie" which is a Bong or a pipe to smoke ganja (marijuanna) on the original song.

Nero-In On The Hits/Xochmilco - Peter Nero

Dutton Vocalion have just released several of Peter's old albums on cd and they are so good, Peter can really P L A Y. I saw him many years ago in concert in Cohasset but I can hardly remember it.

I must buy the other releases soon!
