The Hollies - in Performance. more like the Autobiography of the Hollies with performance clips. I've been on a Hollies kick all week for some reason.

Agreed on "On A Clear Day" Maxine. I just got back from seeing "Son of God" it was an awesome movie. Though what really had me excited was coming in November "Paddington" yep about the adventures of Paddington Bear. Colin Firth does his voice and Hugh Bonneville plays Mr. Brown!

Watched THE BOOK THIEF at the cinema yesterday- excellent.Great acting by Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson but the girl who played 'The Book Thief' Sophie Nelise was the star.
The film got rotten reviews

Hi Sandra

How nice to hear you liked 'The Book Thief'.
I also saw the poor reviews and it has put me off going, but I might give it wirl now.
Just one quick question, please.
I have two girls, aged 12 and 9, would it be suitable for them?

Hi Gray,

It would be suitable in the way that their isn't a lot of violence, and two of the main characters are children.
Whether the subject matter would keep them interested for over two hours,I'm not sure.
It goes along at quite a slow pace too,I think that they would find it,dare I use the word 'boring'.

Hi Gray,
I took my niece to see it and she's 13 and it was just ok for her but as Sandra says it was slow. i would wait for it on video. It's already out on dvd here. Honestly I fell asleep on it in some parts. Have you had a chance to see The Moniments Men? Going to see a free preview of the new Capt America on the 29th

Has anyone seen The Butler? I think it would be good.

However don't let poor reviews on films put you off. I find those are the one's I enjoy and rave reviews for others I find terrible.
