In the Musical now running Paul Michael Glaser takes the part of Tevye, the father--so the daughter will be singing to him. I could never remember the names of the daughters !
But I love that film so much.
In fact we had an argument at our quiz last night---one of the questions was , what musical did the song "Money Money , Money" come from--so I said "Cabaret" of course--but someone insisted it was "Fiddler on the roof" as she remembered someone singing it " in a foreign accent" But as I said , I know "FOTR" inside out, I know it is not from that, so things got a bit heated--but I was writing the answers down, and I would not budge !!!!!
Incidentally the same lady, just a few weeks ago, insisted that Doris Day was in "Annie get your gun" as she could see her riding on the wagon !! Again, I ignored her !!!!
