Re: CHOCOLATE LOVERS PAGE
I do not eat them now Karl !!
One of my very favourite sweets were Chocolate Limes---lovely crunch sharp outside, soft choclate inside. When my friends and I were dsriving thousands of miles around the uk seeing Johnny Mathisd, we had a Sweety Box, and i insisted on chocolate limes being included---but believe it or not the others did not like them--in fact actually hated them !!!! What bad luck--I had to eat them all !!!!

Robert, I remember getting Curly Wurly's when the Bay City Rollers had some sort of picture card inside of them.. ha ha.. I'd have my Grandfather and Uncle send me the candy bars to the U.S. LOL.. There was also a Cadbury bar and I forgot which one that had The Wombles.
Re: CHOCOLATE LOVERS PAGE
Does anyone remember Five Boys chocolate? I remember the chocolate had pictures embossed on it of the five boys, kind of like the wise monkeys as it depicted them in different moods.
One I also remember I think from the 80's was a Fuse Bar - I loved them.
Then there was Duncans chocolate which was in Edinburgh and very popular, the factgory closed but the management took their redjundancy and re-opened the factory, it was good to see it the chocolate again but it didn't last too long.
Can you still get Ritter bars?

Re: CHOCOLATE LOVERS PAGE
Definitely a favourite subject.
I love Chocolate Limes, but the shop near us that generally sells them had sold out on Friday. They had Liquorice Allsorts but not the usual Barratts make that I generally buy. I decided to try the Haribo alternative, but what rubbish they are. Never again.
From what I've seen about the Terry Scott advert for Curly Whirlies, the same voice was used for Penfold in Dangermouse., which is a reminder about iced mice that I haven't seen in a long time. :
