Today is my dad's anniversary, it's 27 years since he passed away and I can remember it so clearly like it was yesterday.

I spoke to my dad on the phone two hours before I received a call from a Police Sergeant I knew
as the station is next door but at that time I only thought dad had been taken ill, it wasn't until I called back to ask a few things that another Policeman told me the bad news. My heart dropped to my feet as I never expected to hear such news.

My dad died out in the garden, it was a beautiful day so he decided to work there.
