THE OAP KILLER

Post by karl » Fri May 09, 2014 8:16 am

Did anyone watch this last night on C5?

What a sick, twisted individual he was but the end really shook me when the sentence was reduced from murder to manslaughter, I always thought manslaughter meant you did not mean to kill them (like an accident) but this was pre-meditated.

In my opinion this was most definitely murder!

However although this happened in 1986 I don't remember it at all.

Dr. Shipman was my late friend Jim's doctor and also his family so I knew about him before the awful events. Jim's mum was in tears over the news as they all thought the world of him.

Infact when JIm's dad passed away they asked me not to send flowers but to send a cheque to give to Dr.Shipman as he was always after new equipment for the surgery.

I read just a few weeks ago that despite all the news he was an excellent doctor, I just thank God nothing untoward happened to my friends.

Maxine for some reason I always seemed to miss Criminal Minds but I love all those kind of shows, NCIS, CSI NY & Law & Order Special Victims Unit.

I'm also still in mourning for The Bill.
