I heard this story on the radio yesterday. I had to check first to see if the date was the 1st April, but of course it wasn't! According to research here in the UK, cows "moo" in a regional accent and birds "tweet" in a similar way and they tell us that if we listen carefully we too can detect the difference in the "moo-ing" and "tweeting" as the sounds are different in other parts of the country.
We were then subjected to hearing a "moo-ing" on the radio from a cow in the london area and then a "moo-ing" from another one that apparently lives in the North of England!
To be honest I couldn't tell the difference between cow no.1 or cow no.2 as they sounded the same to me.
Does this mean in future then that if we want to buy milk from a London cow, (hello Lena and Harry!) then we can go along to the supermarket and ask for it or if we prefer, milk from a Northern cow or any other region for that matter?
Has the world gone mad do you think, or is it just me?

Maybe this is the silly season and it is a slow news week or something.
