I confess that I missed it last night--I was doing a quiz, and I forgot to set my Sky+--well, I did not forget-I just thought that I had already done it.
Got home in time to see the end of the voting.

I think that was a good, maybe predictable result for Jade and ALW-I expected them to get in the top 10-but I did not think that they would win.

The winning song did not seem to have much of a tune to it-I wish I could have heard more Of Iceland's song, as the little I heard during the voting sounded very nice.

My sister is going to copy it for me, and send it through-she thought it was worth watching-better songs-not so many gimmicky songs-and Graham Norton did well.

You missed absolutely nothing!
Watching paint dry is preferable!
My wife blames me because I chose to watch it in place of BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT!!

You could watch both as we did and not really miss anything of importance. Eurovision is much too log winded anyway, it was quite simple to fit Britain's Got Talent into the middle of it!

It can be summed up in a four letter word really. No prizes for guessing.
The only song that I thought was listenable was Azerbajan's entry.

I didn't watch it, I must admit, watched Britain's Got Talent instead.

I caught up with BGT when I got home from the quiz--as I had that on series link.

Usual mix of bizarre, plus the odd one or 2 good acts. I think here have been more strange acts this year than ever before-I sometimes wonder if they do it for a bet---eating chocolates, knitting, sitting down excercising, flower arranging--etc etc etc.

I think I will be able to condense Eurovision to no more than 30 minutes !!

Well I'm still baffled as to how Norways entry caused such a stir and came first. and I dont want to watch it and hear it again, at least not until I've upped my medication.
So any explanations will be welcome. :)

The winning song Fairytale is #3 on the UK iTunes. So I just watched it on You Tube to see why it's selling so well. I'm still shocked at its success. Then I watched Yohanna which is also selling well on iTunes. Didn't impress me either.
