Good to have Don Black on Radio 2 on a Sunday night :) ................Don did play "Marvellous" Matt's Wednesday's Child this week :) .........he also said Bradley Walsh owns every Matt Monro record he ever released :) ............every one, I wonder :wink:

You are right Robert great to have Don back on a Sunday night playing our Matt.

And good to hear him tell us that about Bradley Walsh,he picked Matt on Tracks Of My Years a few years ago

with On Days Like These.

A lot of Don's anecdotes during his show's are repeats from his other programmes ! .............but I liked the Bobby Darin story about being excited meeting Matt :)

Don played "Matchless" and "Marvellous" Matt singing Can This Be Love :D

After listening to Don Black playing Helen Forrest singing 'She's Funny That Way' I was prompted to listen to further tracks and then order a CD called HELEN FORREST VOICE OF THE NAME BANDS from EBay :)

Don told us the story again of Matt meeting celebs after concerts then wanting sneak off for a Currie.........he played the "Matchless" Matt singing This Way Mary tonight :)
