Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

April is such an awful month for me. 12th April is my mums birthday. My brother died in April, along with our best friend Win, both within less than a week. This Friday 10th, is 10 years since I lost George, and his funeral 2 weeks later.
This year on 1st April , Jim dumped me !!! April fool Marian !!

Marian, some months do often seem to have multible dates that we can never dismiss, and we are thinking of you, and as far as being dumped Marian, we are so sorry, but as hurtful as it may be for you right now, (and of course we don't know the details ) , but we hope you will look on this as an experience and who knows ....perhaps a lucky escape.
Some of us on the forum have met you and we know you as a lovely friend and we hope that one day you may meet someone who is genuinely worthy of you.

Thanks Lena aand Harry--I know now that I will be better off without Jim in my life, he has caused me too many upsets especially since Christmas. But still hurting quite a lot right now, because he was totally heartless, right out of the blue.

Yes, I should have realised that myself, right from the start. I am in a better head space now. I only have lemonade at the moment, but that will do. May buy a bottle of wine on Wednesday so that I can really celebrate my freedom !!!!!!

Marian I was so happy for you when you met Jim but glad you realised he was not what you thought.

As L&H and everyone says you have your dogs, you have your music and you have us - we're like family here.

It isn't nice being hurt but it make you stronger and wiser.

Treat yourself to something nice.
