Just been reading the July news, and it is good to hear that we may have two new releases to look forward to this year. The Alternate Monro sounds interesting, and the Rarities CD certainly seems like a positive way to deal with Rare & Rarer Monro being deleted. Maybe we will be able to get some of the tracks that have only been available on some of the other collections (At The Movies, Greatest, etc) also included here.

I just read Michele's news for July, and I was happy to hear she had a good time on the Baltic Cruise,
but sorry to hear about getting the Novo Virus at the end of the trip. I sympathize with her problems
with arthritic knees which I also have, but I have avoided surgery as my pain level has stayed very low.
Good Luck to her when she has them both done in September and her recovery occurs with no problems.
We only have 9 more weeks to hear Matt's new release "The Alternate Monro" & the re-issue of Matt's
"Rare" & "Rarer" on Parlophone in the near future with a song list available in Michele's Newsletter in
September with some other songs filling in. I hope you can sell your home within the next few months,
but "Moving" is nothing to look forward to......Keep a Stiff Upper Lip!!

I have already mastered the 'Rarities' set and it is full to the brim across three CD's (the first two discs have only a few seconds of space remaining!)

Unless anything changes it will include one track only previously available on Matt at the Movies/The Greatest, unfortunately other rarities from those sets like 'When I look In Your Eyes" and " I'll Never Fall In Love Again" belong to Capitol.

We are hoping to include one other rarity IF we can clear it. However I have re-mastered all the tracks from 'Rare' (which i didn't master) to match the sound of 'Rarer' and as a little bonus all of the songs that originally came from Matt's radio show "Matt's Kind of Music" are totally uncut/faded and include Matt's introductions (In a similar way to the end of Rarer).

We have also located better quality versions of a couple of tracks from Rare too!

Please note that Alternate's release date may change slightly - especially as I'm still working on it! These things are never set in stone! It's been exceptionally hard work putting that together. Hopefully we can give you full details next month!

Have just read the July news and so sorry to hear about the Noro Virus that you unfortunately suffered Michele but pleased to know that your trips still get out the word of Matt's music to many different audiences.
It's tragic that all these treasured CDs of Matt's that have involved so much time and research to produce have been taken by Universal and deleted from EMI, but on a selfish note, we are so pleased that we have these safely in our posession.
Hope you soon get some good news where your house is concerned Michele, and yes, I think we can say... join the club where winning the lottery is concerned.
Well money isn't everything is it,...but it rates right up there with Oxygen. !!!!!

Maxine, Michele had the virus problem over a year ago. You probably didn't notice the date was last year's.

July 2015 Newsletter.

It always amazes that so much still moves forward in the world of our dear Matt Monro.
So much news Michele.The Capitol back catalogue,the possibility of the Two on Ones,The David Nixon show online with the beautiful Sarah's Coming Home,the Sky Arts Australian show
and so much more.
I hope that you are now settled in your new home.That Max will soon be fit and well and that you enjoy your upcoming cruises.

We hope Warner will take on board Michele's comments regarding 'You Make Me Feel So Young' on the 2 on 1 Series.
