George Cole R.I.P.

I was sorry to read that the actor George Cole has died aged 90. Unforgettable as Arthur Daley in Minder, and many other TV roles, but of course he was in many films of the 50's and 60's including the wonderful St. Trinians films.

Yes sad to hear of another of that generation of fine actors now left us John.
We remember him mainly for those older films.

George was great in Minder, I'm sure I saw him onstage with Lulu years ago in Peter Pan.

In the early 50's George Cole was the lead romantic actor in a film starring opposite a young Joan Collins :) ..............RIP :(
