The Romantic Voice is an MFP (Music For Pleasure) album, remember them ? They were 12/6. That album introduced me to that voice in 1966 and I've been a fan ever since, until then I'd never heard of him.

Robert, the name of the girl was Bernadette and I forgot her surname. Yes. Cassidy didn't even know it happened until much later and he wasn't able to pay his respects because management wouldn't let him. This tragedy was so hard on him, he decided to retire from touring. To this day I've heard it still affects him. Really sad.
