To be honest Sandra, it is such a great cd, I love all the tracks--I guess my favourites are "Hello Young lovers" "That's all" and also"I'll be easy to find"---which I have never heard anyone else sing before.

"Moonlight becomes you" as a song is not my favouite, but if anyone could make me like it JM could--especially as he sings the verse, which again is quite rare.

I am so glad that you have got it, after all this time. Your collection is not complete without it.

I know that Jerry Vale's version of "Moonlight Becomes You" is one of your favourites of Jerry's, Lena. :D

I love that Johnny Mathis medley that includes Moonlight Becomes You. (Thanks Marian :) ).

I also love the recording by Bing Crosby. Have you heard it Lena?

Yes, I love the song, Jerry Vales in particular, but I do love Bing Crosby's version too, in fact Bing's recording was the first and I'm sure the only recording that I remembered and associated with that song for a long, long time.
What I do particularly remember is that the Two crooners predominantly and favourably in many peoples minds here from the Forties were Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra,... and in that order. :)

I think, that although they came from the same era, Bing and Frank were both very different singers---completely different, instantly recognisable voices--their own style--and both completely unique.

We agree Robert.Jeannie is a beautiful song.
In fact Chris Dean of the Syd Lawrence Orchestra now includes it in his repertoire of songs he sings when paying tribute to the great voice and songs of Matt.
