:D I love the Twelfth Street Rag by Pee Wee Hunt -- especially the third time with the repeated notes. It used to be played on the radio here -- even up to the 1990s, but sadly those days are gone.

Thanks for checking out Bobby Bare on YouTube.

I think I may be forgetting some other song, but I'll go with:

Beatles - I Should Have Known Better

Les Baxter, His Orchestra and Chorus - The High And The Mighty

Lena and Harry: :D Those were fun times playing records for a party, or even in someone's garage or basement or on an old HiFi. It doesn't seem the same with CDs and people don't seem to play music at parties as much anymore.

Our daughter recently had a party for her fortieth and they played lots of music. It was a great success. Everyone said they hadn't been to a party like that since they were teenagers!

:D Sounds like a great party, Marian from Reading. I'll have to consider that one day.

I have to go back to A. How could I forget, and it's basically impossible to choose only one as I love everything this great gentleman wrote and recorded.

Leroy Anderson - Serenata

:?: Question on the game rules, Marian from Kent -- Are we permitted to select one Christmas song and then one non-Christmas song from an artist? I think I know what your answer will be. I have a very difficult decision coming up in the Cs. :?

:?: Robert: Is June too soon to be thinking about Christmas and its music?
