Glen Campbell - Adios. This is his farewell studio album. Reading the liner notes it's kind of sad to see how this album was recorded and how much effort and heart it took on Glen's part and his desire to complete it for his fans. My favourite track is "Funny How Time Slips Away" which is a duet with Willie Nelson. I actually bought the cd for me and gave the lp to my Dad. So far he hasn't said anything but is listening to it and reading the liner notes. My Dad is a big G.C. fan and was sadden to hear when Glen got sick.

I have just got this one too Eman, I haven't played mine as yet. It is going to be quite sad to listen to , I know. What a great singer and a great collection of songs he has recorded over the years.

A Tribute To Ella Fitzgerald performed by CLARE TEAL with the SYD LAWRENCE ORCHESTRA.

Nice CD by the lovely Clare Teal purchased at our annual Syd Lawrence convention where they were celebrating 50 years of swing. It is 50 years-1967 since Syd Lawrence first start touring with the band and it hasn't stopped touring since.Chris Dean took over the band in 1996- 21 years ago and it is still going strong.
Clare was one of the guests over the four day celebration and she is SO nice. :D :D

These Years/The Late Late Show - Matt . Two great albums, although I am not keen on Spanish Eyes and Release Me.
