Thanks John........I was looking, but could only find the lyrics but it didn't say who wrote them  .............I wonder why they didn't get Don Black to write the lyrics for the song.

Doesn't it just P you off that the audience can't wait until he hits those notes before applauding, however Robert that performance was not live but Gene Pitney live was amazing. That appearance is obviously from Ready Steady Go and nobody seemed to sing live on it.

Yes Karl, that's what I meant ……...Gene was live in the studio and was obviously miming, but it was absolutely perfect miming :) ………...I know the audience started applauding before Gene hit those wonderful final notes but it's no wonder they couldn't keep their appreciation of Gene under wraps until the end ……..as the song is brilliant...…….have listened to it a few times today and it gives me goose bumps ………….those wonderful strings coming in just before the final notes was pure magic :) :) ………….right at the end a girl puts her arms round Gene while he is up on stage...…………….Karl hope you had a nice birthday ……...when you went to the new Mama Mia movie did the audience applaud like they did for Sandra ?

No Robert there was no applause after Mamma Mia, most of the audience were youngsters.

Hi Karl, the finale was when the cast got together to sing Super Trouper. However after all the credits had rolled, there was an end tag where the Customs/Immigration guy at the island, is flirting with Harry and he sings a few lines of "Take A Chance On Me" then it shows some cast bloopers.

There were so many scenes with the customs guy I can't remember if I saw the end bit or not. Will catch it when the dvd is released.
