Another kind of odd programme from Don tonight who played songs by song writers who wrote both the words and the music to songs ………………..Don played "matchless Matt" singing the Jimmy Webb penned song
Didn't We
……….not Didn't We Girl as Don said at the end of the song ……………….he also played the Beatles song Till There Was You which was the Beatles only ever recorded song from a musical (apart from their own films)

…….but the sound was iffy, as the vocal channel on the song was virtually non existent ……...the voices could hardly be heard yet the music was ok ………………..Don also said he gets many requests for songs by singer songwriter Don Maclean then proceeded to play Perry Como singing the Don Maclean written song And I Love You So, very misleading ……………….Don played Rod McKuen's Jean also written by Rod but Matts version is fantastic even though I like Rods voice …………...here is Matts version
