Well, Maureen & Harry-I do not know what to say--on the reply screen, mine looked exactly like yours, so I do not know why yours has not come out in colour.

Perhaps someone else may have a clue, but it certainly looks as though you did everything right---that is =to highlight your text, then click on the colour you want

I click on the colour I want first, then write the message I want to leave between the two colour symbols.

Thank you so much Mariana for all your help. I have just tried again to change the colour but when I clicked on Preview it still came up in white.

It might be my computer that's at fault & if that is the case then I wouldn't know where to start.

I did everything you said i.e. highlight the text and then click on the required colour and then waited a few seconds but all that came up was the word Colour + number at the beginning.

I will keep trying from time to time but in the meantime thanks again.

We have just read your reply Marian and thank you so much for your suggestion. We tried doing it that way but unfortunately it didn't work. As I said in my last post I think it is probably my computer (that's my story & I'm sticking to it)!

We will keep trying though just in case it decides to work properly.

I'm sorry to hear you are still having a problem Maureen and Harry, I've just tried colour again and it works okay.When you click on the colour you want there should be a flashing line between the bracketed word color and a couple of symbols a number and letters, write here and you should be okay. It finishes with the word color again in brackets.

Thanks so much to you all for all your help we really do appreciate it but just in case it is a fault on our computer then perhaps the remedy is out of our hands.

We just want to say that we really like the new look forum and feel sure that everyone will like it once they get used to it.

I really like the new look as well. On Thursday when I logged in, like a couple of other members I had to log in each time I replied, but no problem at all now.

I just tried again, the way Marian suggested, and that works Ok too. But I personally find it easier to write my post, highlight it-then just click on the colour I want.

I just wanted to comment ... on my screen it is green with white writing.. It seems to be quite legible I am happy to have the forum in any condition... And to read all the comments when I log on each night.. don't know where i would meet nicer people!! thankyou for your friendship....
