Yes, what shocking news. Apparently he suffered a cardiac arrest, was found at home not breathing, and paramedics were unable to revive him. That was the latest report I have read anyway.

When I went to bed last night I'd only heard that he had been taken to hospital but the news of his death was all over the papers when I came out this morning; everyone talking on their mobiles about it on the way to work. A momentous day. May he rest in peace.

Well, we've all read during the past years about Michael Jackson's private life, but from what we have read, he has never been convicted of those accusations, and his family feel the pain and the loss like any other family. I have been watching all the tribute programmes these past few days, and without doubt he was simply a performer in a class of his own with his dancing ability, just incredible to watch. All quite sad I Ihink. :(

I agree with what you say L&H :) I think MJ was quite childlike, and he did childlike things .................those accusations against him were never proven, because they probably never happened (he did have to pay $20 million to one childs family for them to drop their case against him), but I bet MJ couldn't understand what was happening to him at that time!! ............ Michael Jackson never had a real childhood, so it was like him having his friends round to his house like other children do when growing up (having missed out the first time round) :) I may be naive, but that's my opinion anyway.

I agree too. We will never know how his childhood, or lack of it, affected him and the way he lived his life, so we just have to focus on his great talent which is what most people will remember Michael for.
I think it is sad that the papers seem to be turning the spotlight on his children now though, which is the one thing he desperately tried to avoid. :(

Sarah Kennedy was saying this morning that although Michael was 5ft 10" he only weighed 8 stone--his stomach was coimpletely empty apart from a load of pills and he was totally bald !!

What a terrible ending for him, at only 50.

Sarah was also bemused by the fact that all his children are white--but I guees if their mother's were white, that would be quite feasible.

I have always guessed that he was wearing a wig. I guess he was bald due to chemo for his skin cancer. His CDs & DVDs are all sold out in the shops here......not that I was thinking of buying any. I liked him around the time he recorded Ben and the album Off The Wall.

I know he lost some of his hair when it caught fire during the filming of a Pepsi ad several years ago. Apparently that was when he started taking painkillers too.
