Firstly, no the song does not have to be from a film.

And secondly I do not think I know your verse--well, I have a few ideas of what it may be,, but I've got to check them out. And I may be wrong!!

Hi Terry,

yes it is 'Lose Yourself' from the film '8 Mile'

The lyrics to "Lose Yourself" were written by Eminem during a break from filming in a portable studio on the set, doing all three verses in one take. The sheet he used to write it on appears in "8 Mile" in a scene where his character is writing while riding the bus. This sheet was sold on eBay for $10,000.



"Lose Yourself" won the 2004 Grammy Awards for Best Male Rap Solo Performance and for Best Rap Song. The song was also nominated for Record Of The Year, for Song Of The Year and for Best Song Written For A Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media.
