Special days in July.

Seeing that we are such a close knit family, I thought it would be nice if you let us know the dates in the year that are special to you.

Although belated John, i'm thinking of you and the times over the twenty years you have visited your mum's grave and placed flowers would set a record.
Your mum would have known that she had a son to be proud of.

I had two special days last week, haven't seen any friends or family since the lockdown so last week I met
a friend for coffee and another day at family for lunch. I was not aware I was discontent but after that I felt
very content so let's hope things continue to improve.

Simple pleasures Karl.

A friend drove half way from Sheffield to Newark and us from Lincoln to Newark.We met in the ruins of Newark Castle. Even found a socially distanced cafe for coffee and lunch.Then a walk by the side of the River Trent.

We actually felt 'normal' for a few hours. :)
