I don't believe I've ever heard Ronan Keating's version of If Tomorrow Never Comes. I hate it by Garth Brooks, so that has turned me off on that song. I'll give Ronan's a listen. He has a way to work magic on a song. I never liked Father And Son by Cat Stevens, but love it by Boyzone.

Rhydian Roberts came 2nd in "the x-factor" 2 years ago. Many people believe that he should have won. The actual winner, Leon Jackson, has faded away.

The Mills Brothers - Be My Life's Companion

You gotta love a song with an intro: "Want no silver threads among the gold; want some action instead". :)

Pam, we weren't familiar with the"Four Preps " until we saw the PBS show Magic Moments, thanks to John, and they sang some songs including Big Man, and Twenty Six Miles, they were great.!! :)

Lena and Harry,
The four preps really only had a couple of well known songs. 26 miles was one, draftdodger rag was a 1970's era song that is so funny and so perky I use it when I am mowing the lawn. if you cant find it I can email you a mp3 file of the song. it is a hoot

Going back to The Four Preps--I always loved that song, { Big Man] and whenever I hear it, I go back to when I was 16 years, and every Friday night , I used to go to the Carlton Dance Hall, which was above the Savoy Cinema-just down the road from me---they played it every week-along with "The Kalin Twins "---"When "--lots of others , but I can only remember those 2 just now.
